FPL is a specialist ‘media’ company that maximizes its unique skills and knowledge, in expanding markets of natural history, environmental and underwater imaging. Our main area of activity is the origination of specialist filming requirements for broadcast Television, which also includes producing, programme’s for local, national and international broadcasters and satellite channels. This also includes providing images (moving and still) to broadcasters and other media companies.

Most of these new ‘digital’ platform channels are broadcasting 24 hours a day 7 days a week – and there is a dearth of good material on them. However this has meant that budgets for programmes have become ‘minimal’ in some satellite channels. More programmes are needed – but less money is available for them. Good ideas and stories are everything to the broadcasters and the independents with them are becoming the most successful.

FPL has strived to develop ideas which are unique and internationally appealing. Our focus has always been to try to create a project and develop it, seeing it through till its economic life has ended. We strive to hold on to as much control to each project, as well as pursuing selling it and through other media – such as newspapers and magazine and also retaining and marketing the world wide copyrights on ALL of our images.
